We look forward to welcoming you to Helios Physiotherapy and Rehab! When you’ve booked your initial appointment, you can complete our new client paperwork online prior to your visit. Please arrive 15 minutes early for your first visit.

What to Bring

We suggest wearing (or bringing with you) comfortable, loose-fitting clothing like shorts and tank tops since you’ll be moving around, and we’ll need to be able to access the muscles around the affected area.

Please bring any relevant reports or test results such as X-rays, MRIs, or ultrasounds. Also, bring Extended Health Insurance, WSIB Claim, and/or Motor Vehicle Accident Insurance, if applicable.

Your First Visit

Our caring team will welcome you and help you feel comfortable. Then, you’ll meet with your practitioner to discuss your health history and current concerns.

Then, they will discuss what is causing your condition, talk with you about your goals for care, and explain their recommended care plan. Our team is committed to educating and helping our clients understand how their bodies work and how our approach to care is tailored to help their bodies regain their capacity for healing using natural techniques and therapies. We welcome your questions!

When you fully understand the care plan and are ready to begin, you may receive your first therapies at this visit.

Most health insurance companies offer some amount of coverage for our services. We encourage you to visit your insurance company’s website for more information. We are happy to help you better understand your benefits and claims process. We offer direct billing with the following insurers:
